Welcome to the Virtual Gastric Band – Weight Management System.  The VGB program is conducted over a 4 week period and are designed to bring about permanent change in your eating habits.  This is not a short-term fix and is about creating new habits to get you where you want to go and enabling you to remain there.

This program includes your weekly hypnosis recordings as well as your support recordings.  You are requested to listen to the support recordings each day as these are to reinforce the new messages that will bring about the permanent change in your eating behaviours.  This is a your life changing process and not a  temporary fix.

Most people follow a traditional dieting system and will lose weight while they are on that diet, but as soon as the diet stops, the weight returns of leaving them heavier that before the diet began.  It is estimated that 95% of all people who diet experience this cycle.  Most diets include some form of deprivation, calorie counting, complete consumption change and this merely serves to program the mind to think about food, so when the diet ends, then the mind has been programmed to think about food more than ever before.

When you are eating different meals than the rest of your family…3 things happen.

  1. The brain fights against it
  2. The body fights against it
  3. The day to day environment fights against it

How many times have your said, “That’s it! Come Monday, I will be starting to diet” or something along those lines.  Of course, you have all the good intentions, but those quickly lapse and its back to the drawing board.

Conscious self denial can often increase the desire for that very thing.  Eating less than what we need – but anything we want – can actually lead to weight loss and that is the premise of the Virtual Gastric Band.

This program employs a Virtual Gastric Band and other mind management techniques, and is most decidedly NOT a diet.  It enables you to form new habits that you can maintain.  There is no deprivation, so you are liberated from not having to think about food all the time.  You will be able to eat consciously and listen to what your stomach is telling you.  This is progressive, steady weight loss without dieting.

Now get a pen and paper and answer these questions:

  1. Why do you want to lose weight?  Be honest with all of your reasons, this is for your eyes only!
  2. How do you think your life will be different if you were slimmer?
  3. Is it portion sizes or specific foods that are a problem?

Keep this information in mind and feel free to change anything that you have written at any time.
